The Chi-KAP Web site was first formed in 2000 to provide a listing of Kink-Aware Professionals with a Chicago-area focus. The management of the site changed in April of 2008, and we are updating the site to bring in new names, professions and businesses. We also want to expand the geographic focus of the listings from the Chicago area to include Illinois and the states that are adjacent to Illinois, which are Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky and Indiana.

Chi-KAP is a privately funded, non-profit service dedicated to providing the BDSM, fetish, GLBT and adult services communities with referrals to professionals and services such as building contractors, travel, medical, legal, and printing. We want to, and plan to, gather together local listings of professionals and services who are aware and comfortable serving a diverse community of (adult) businesses and individuals without judgment regarding sexual orientation and fetish.

Chi-KAP cannot in any way endorse or recommend any of these professionals since their inclusion on this list is done without any screening. However, each professional listed has volunteered to be available for referral to people involved in non-traditional relationships and lifestyles of all kinds, including "kinky" sexuality (leather, SM, fetish, etc.) either by contacting Chi-KAP directly or through another kink-friendly organization.
